This section is the result of over 25 years of
research. That being said, the data still needs
quite a bit of updating. Each section contains college and university
information, including the official school colors and
nicknames.
"Institutional Colors" indicates the colors that are
true for the institution/school itself. "Athletic
Colors" are color sets that apply to only the athletic
programs, while "Official Colors" indicate colors that
are true for the entire school - institutional and
athletics.

The color swatches accessible by these team color
listings represent the colors in the sRGB color space,
on coated paper, as defined by the latest
PANTONE
formula guides. The vast majority of these colors
utilize the Pantone libraries (PANTONE Plus, PANTONE
Goe), but a select few are representative of a custom
color mix, or a conversion from CIE-Lab to RGB, or an
entirely different color library (TOYO, RAL, Tru-Match,
etc.).
Official color descriptions are used whenever
possible; however, some entries listed here may be
estimates. Estimated color values are indicated by
an asterisk (*) in the lower-right-hand corner of the
color swatch. Any help in obtaining these official
colors and/or descriptions would be greatly appreciated. If you
