The
Indians today unveiled a special logo that will be used
during the 2005 season to commemorate the team's 20th
Anniversary Season.
The logo was designed by the art department Mr J's
Silkscreen Inc. in Burlington. Mr. J's is the exclusive
supplier of screen printed apparel for the Burlington
Indians.
"It's a simple, fun logo that reminds our fans that
the Indians have been providing great family
entertainment to Alamance County for twenty years," said
Indians GM Mark Cryan.
The team played its first season in 1986, and has
produced Major League All-Stars like Manny Ramirez, Jim
Thome, Jaret Wright, and many more.
The 2005 season will start off with an exhibition
game against the Kernersville Bulldogs on Saturday, June
18 at 7 PM. The official home opener comes on Monday,
June 27 against the Pulaski Blue Jays at 7 PM. Call
