Savannah Sand Gnats - 10th Anniversary Logo

SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Savannah Sand Gnats released a commemorative logo Monday in celebration of the team’s tenth anniversary. The logo, which was designed by David Vrabel of Fort Wayne, Ind., will appear on marketing materials, the team’s Website, stadium promotional giveaways and other products throughout the 2005 season.

Kevin A. Gray, director of marketing and public relations for the Gnats said it is important to recognize the success the franchise has enjoyed. He said the team will celebrate with a variety of exciting promotions during the 2005 season, including a series of four legends bobble heads sponsored by Comcast that will feature former Gnat players.

“Grayson Stadium has been a starting point for a number of great Major League players throughout the last decade. Major League All-Stars Adrian Beltre, Hank Blalock and Eric Gagne are among the more than 20 Gnats who’ve made the big leagues, and we want to celebrate the Sand Gnats role in developing future Major League stars,” Gray said.
