LANCASTER, CA-- The 2005 California League season will feature a “Tenth Anniversary Salute” to the community as the Lancaster JetHawks celebrate this milestone campaign with special promotions and merchandise all summer long.

Highlighting the anniversary is a special logo that has been developed featuring a “saluting” JetHawks plane rising in front of a roman numeral X. The design will be featured on all print material produced for next season as well as several pieces of merchandise and promotional giveaway items scheduled during the 2005 season.

“We are thrilled to kick-off this tribute not only to our anniversary but also to the community that this club has called home for the last decade,” explained JetHawks general manager Brad Seymour. “The salute honors the strong military and aerospace community that is so integral to the Antelope Valley and we feel expresses our appreciation to everyone who has made the first ten years of this franchise’s existence a success.”

Sometime during the 2005 regular season, the JetHawks will welcome their 2,000,000th fan through the turnstiles. The lucky fan will receive gifts and prizes as well as recognition for being the fan who represents everyone who has enjoyed JetHawks baseball since 1996.
