Pacific Coast League (baseball) - Omaha Royals
Omaha Royals Change Team Colors
OMAHA
– The Omaha Royals are changing their team colors from
blue and yellow to blue and red. The change will be
noticed both in the club’s logo and uniforms for the
2005 season.
The team’s logo will remain a bat across an “O” with
“Royals” across the middle of the “O” and “Omaha” above
the “O”. The “O” will now be in red, instead of yellow,
with “Royals” and “Omaha” still in blue.
“The Omaha Royals’ logo created three years ago has
been well received and easily recognized, based on fan
feedback and surveys,” said Royals Senior Vice
President/General Manager Doug Stewart. “The change to
the secondary color from yellow to red will create more
of a vibrant look overall, yet the recognizable logo
will stay the same,” Stewart said.
The Royals would also appreciate the public’s input
in selecting a new slogan to accompany the new look.
Fans may choose from “Your Heartland Team”, “Get to the
Show”, or “Best Catch in Town” or make their own
