Calgary Hitmen Unveil 10th Anniversary Jersey

To celebrate 10 years in the WHL, The Calgary Hitmen today unveiled its 10th Anniversary Jersey.

A 10th Anniversary commemorative patch will be affixed to the left arm, which is outlined in pink to honour the infamous original Hitmen colors. The grey/black with red trim jersey will make it’s Saddledome debut at the Home Opener on September 26th, and will continue to be worn for the first 18 Home games. The Hitmen will keep with their regular white jerseys for away games.

The Western Hockey League is returning to a “jersey switch” plan for the coming season. Teams will wear their dark jerseys at home prior to Christmas, then their white jerseys at home after Christmas.

“ The Limited Edition Jersey will only be available during the 2004-2005 season. We wanted to highlight the Hitmen’s 10th Anniversary with a unique Jersey, but we fully intend to return to our regular black jersey for next season” noted Hitmen Director of Business Operations, Kip Reghenas.
