Louisiana IceGators Unveil 10th Anniversary Logo

Lafayette, LA – The Louisiana IceGators today unveiled their 10th Anniversary logo at an afternoon press conference at Tampico Mexican Restaurant and Cantina in Lafayette.

The logo was designed by local, award winning artist Tony Bernard. Bernard, who has received national acclaim for his artwork, found the task of designing the logo a fun challenge.

“The Icegators originally asked for two or three different concepts to choose from,” said Bernard. “By the time I was through with different concepts I had drawn 13 different logos. I hope the IceGators fans will enjoy the final product. ”

The IceGators also announced their new slogan for the 10th Anniversary season, “X-TREME-HOCKEY”.

“This is a slogan that has a special meaning to this organization ,” said John Lingo, the IceGators Managing Partner. “ It is a tribute to our 10th year in the ECHL and at the same time a reminder of what kind of product we plan to put on the ice this season.”
