Odessa Roughnecks Unveil Inaugural Jerseys
ODESSA,
TX. Modeled on new team quarterback Jason Johnson, the
Odessa Roughnecks unveiled today, their first-ever team
uniforms. The garment was displayed in both the
black-home and white-road versions at Mean Genes Pizza
in Odessa.
The black-bodied home jersey features the team’s
cobalt blue shoulders and sleeves along with white and
gold spikes towards the arms. The white, road jersey is
highlighted with black shoulders and blue spikes. This
same pointed “spike” feature will appear down the black
pant legs and on top of the metallic black team helmets.
Roughnecks Vice President and creative designer of
the uniforms had this to say in regards to today’s
announcement, “Je suis tres surpris et heureux de voir
comment sont notre chandail d’equipe. Je suis tres
content et j’espere nos partisans vont etre fiers de
notre uniforme. C’est un autre etape franchie pour notre
equipe.” What team President Tommy Benizio assumed
Pierre said is, “We are very excited about this
progressive step towards our inaugural kick off. We
don’t feel that there is any NFL team with better
looking uniforms than ours.
They will represent our community very well all
around the state of Texas this summer.” These jerseys
were produced by OT Sports, a sports uniform
manufacturer out of Greenboro, North Carolina. This
special company is currently contracted a licensed by
the Arena Football League, Arena Football2, and even the
Central Hockey League to produce uniforms for teams
across North America.

various outlet all across town.
