NFL Europe Teams Mark 10th Seasons With
Anniversary Logos
ADMIRALS, FIRE AND CLAYMORES MARK 10TH SEASONS WITH
ANNIVERSARY LOGO The 2004 NFL Europe League season will
be a special one for three teams. The Amsterdam
Admirals, Rhein Fire and Scottish Claymores are all
celebrating their 10th anniversary season.
To mark the occasion, each team will feature a 10th
anniversary logo during the 2004 season. Players will
wear the logo on their uniform pants, and the teams will
produce special merchandise featuring the design.
“The Admirals, Fire and Claymores have worked hard to
become part of the sporting community in their various
cities,“ says NFL Europe League managing director JIM
CONNELLY. “They have established great relationships
with local government, business and media and have
enjoyed the outstanding support of dedicated fans. We
feel it is appropriate to mark their anniversaries with
these special logos.”
The Fire has been one of the most successful teams in
NFLE history, winning two World Bowls (1998 and 2000)
and playing in three more, including the past two
seasons. Rhein has also achieved some of the highest
attendance in league history and this season will host
World Bowl for the third time.
The Admirals reached the World Bowl in their
inaugural 1995 season and successfully staged World Bowl
IX in 2001.
The Scottish Claymores were World Bowl winners in
1996, when they hosted the game at Murrayfield,
Edinburgh, and also staged last season’s World Bowl at
Hampden Park, Glasgow.
