Detroit Fury to Unveil New Uniforms
AUBURN
HILLS, Mich. -The Detroit Fury of the Arena Football
League announced today they will have a new look for the
2004 season and will unveil the new uniforms at their
annual season ticket holder party at Dave & Buster's in
Utica on Saturday, January 31 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM.
The Fury's new home uniforms will change from all
black to all purple, and the away uniforms will become
all white. The helmets will feature slight changes but
will keep the same basic look as the previous versions.
Fury fans will be able to see the new uniforms, when
the Fury open the 2004 AFL season against the San Jose
SaberCats on Thursday, February 5, 2004 at 7:30 p.m. at
The Palace of Auburn Hills. Fans also still have time to
take advantage of the Fury's $10 money-back guarantee
ticket for the home opener. Any fan who purchases a
special $10 ticket for the home opener is eligible for
the money back guarantee offered by Fury Director of
Operations Dave Wieme who said he will, "Refund anyone's
money that isn't completely blown away."
Fury players will sport the new home jerseys this
Saturday, at the Fury's season ticket holder kick-off.
The party, exclusive to season ticket holders, is
expected to have a turnout of approximately 300 people.
Food, beverage and video game cards will be given to all
guests, as well as the opportunity to meet their 2004
Fury team and coaching staff.
The Fury will return for their fourth season of Arena
Football League action at The Palace of Auburn Hills in
February 2004. Season tickets for the Fury can be
