National Lacrosse League Unveils 2004 All-Star
Game Logo
The
National Lacrosse League and the Colorado Mammoth
recently unveiled the 2004 All-Star Game logo. The logo
features a lacrosse stick set in front of the Rocky
Mountains backdrop. The All-Star game will take place on
February 22, 2004 at Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado
the home arena of the Mammoth.
Players will be selected by a combination of fan
ballots, media votes and selection by coaches and
general managers. The fan balloting will take place
through the league website,
www.nll.com. The teams will be divided between
Eastern and Western Division squads.
Tickets for the event start at $7 and go on sale at
Saturday, November 29 at 10:00 am and are available at
the Pepsi Center Box Office, Ticketmaster locations
including Foley's, Angelo's CDs & More, select Rite Aid
locations, Tower Records and Wherehouse Music, online at
Ticketmaster.com or by phone, 303.830.TIXS.
The All-Star Weekend festivities will include the
first-ever collegiate indoor lacrosse game featuring the
Colorado State University Rams and interstate rival
University of Colorado-Boulder Buffaloes. The game,
which begins at 11 a.m. will be followed by the All-Star
Skills Competition at 1:30 p.m. and the All-Star Game at
4 p.m.
In the past two seasons the Mammoth have welcomed in
two former Colorado State University (United States
Intercollegiate Associates players) to their training
camps. After selecting Mike Nappolilli as their 9th
round selection (105th overall) in the 2002 Entry Draft,
the team recently welcomed in Kale Nelson for this
year’s open tryouts as well.
