Idaho Falls Chukars Proudly Release New Logo

Falls, ID - The Idaho Falls Chukars are very proud to
release their new logo after a lengthy search and much
discussion. Over the course of several weeks, the
Chukars front office reviewed various designs from local
artists as well as design studios from across the
country.
Despite several quality designs, one logo separated
itself from the rest as the perfect Chukar. The selected
logo came from a prestigious sports branding firm out of
Louisville, KY, called Studio Simon. In addition to
designing the last two Super Bowl logos, Studio Simon
has created logos and/or uniforms for more than 25
professional baseball teams in 13 different leagues,
from short-season rookie ball up to the Majors. Dan
Simon, creator of the new logo adds, "My goal is not to
simply give a team an identity that is as good as that
of any other team in its league, but one that rivals
that of any team, at any level, in any sport.
The distinct markings of the Chukar, the picturesque
setting of the city, and the valuable input from General
Manager Kevin Greene and the rest of his staff all
combined to lend themselves to a finished product that I
am extremely proud to have represent the team, the fans,
and the city of Idaho Falls."
 Kevin Greene, General Manager/President of the
Chukars, is excited about the new look, "The new Chukar
is one that we will be proud of for many years to come.
We're confident our fans and those that support us
throughout the community will feel the same. It looks
classy, and at the same time, is completely unique
throughout the ranks of professional baseball."
The Chukars will retain the same team colors as under
the Padres. The colors will remain burgundy, silver, and
black. The Chukars are currently in negotiations with
several apparel companies and can expect the first new
Chukars merchandise within the next several weeks.
Chukars T-shirts will be made available in time for
Christmas.
