Modesto A's Unveil Commemorative Logo
 MODESTO, CA--The Modesto A‘s Professional Baseball
Club has unveiled a commemorative logo honoring the
30-year relationship between the Modesto A’s and the
Oakland Athletics. The Modesto A’s 2004 season will be
the team’s 30th season as a California League affiliate
of the Oakland Athletics.
"We are proud to have one of the longest player
development partnerships in Minor League Baseball," said
Modesto A’s General Manager Greg Coleman. "In addition
to a commemorative logo, our theme for the upcoming
season will focus on our outstanding 30-year history
with the Oakland A’s."
The logo was designed by the Louisville, KY sports
design firm Studio Simon, who also created the logos for
the last two Super Bowls. In addition to the newly
released logo, Studio Simon has created the Modesto A’s
primary logo as well as the A’s "History in the Making"
logo introduced in 2001.
