Americans Unveil New Logo and Uniforms
Kennewick, WA – The Tri-City Americans unveiled a

revealing a their new uniforms, colors and logos for the
upcoming 2003-04 WHL campaign. The crest logo features

Edmonton, Alberta.
“The new logo was designed to respect the past
history of the franchise, while strongly focusing on the
future,” said May.
“The swooping eagle was designed to portray the speed
and intensity of the sport of hockey and to reflect the
pride and spirit of the Tri-City Americans. The logo
also pays tribute to the eagle’s symbolism and its place
in franchise history,” explained May.

features three stripes, symbolic of the stripes on the
American flag and representing each of the Tri-Cities of
Kennewick, Pasco and Richland, Washington. That theme is
also continued on the shoulder patch with three stars
and stripes, each proudly representing each city.
