Philadelphia Phillies to Modify Uniforms for 2003

The Phillies have announced an ambitious promotional schedule to mark their last year in Veterans Stadium. Also, the players will wear commemorative patches on their uniforms, and the same logo will be stamped on all baseballs used at the Vet this season.

The Phillies continue to tinker with the color scheme of their uniforms. They have added blue piping to their red warmup jerseys and will, for the first time, wear blue batting practice shirts on the road this season.
