Portland Trail Blazers Unveil New Alternate Uniform

The Blazers will play for the first time since the 1984-85 season in a red away uniform, wearing it for the first time at the Blazers vs. Sacramento game on December 28, 2002. The Blazers will continue to have a white home jersey, black away jersey, adding the red uniform to other select away games.

“We’ve heard from fans that they liked the red away jersey’s of the 70’s and 80’s and wanted to see an updated version,” said Erin Hubert, Blazers Executive Vice President. “We're excited to grant this wish for Blazers fans and make the red uniforms a reality.”

For the remainder of the season, the team plans to wear red uniforms at seven additional games, including:

• January 3 at Boston
• January 5 at New York
• January 26 at Dallas
• February 2 at Cleveland
• February 21 at the LA Lakers
• March 11 at Seattle
• April 16 at the LA Clippers
