Rome Braves Unveil New Name, Logo

Rome, GA - The Atlanta Braves announced today the official naming of their Class A team in Rome, Georgia. The club will be known as the Rome Braves and is a member of the Southern Division of the South Atlantic League. As part of the announcement, new logos were unveiled during a ceremony at the Shop Greater Rome Showcase Expo sponsored by the Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce. "Now that the team has an identity, we're anxious to share our logo with the thousands of Braves fans in the Southeast and showcase Rome as the home of the Braves," says General Manager Michael Dunn.
