Cleveland Browns Unveil Third Jerseys

Sunday is a big day at Cleveland Browns Stadium as the Browns, wearing orange jerseys for the first time, host the Houston Texans. It’s also Browns Alumni Weekend and the team will honor two groups from the franchise’s rich history: The 1950 NFL Champion Cleveland Browns and the 2002 Cleveland Browns Legends Class.

“The National Football League has put a great deal of emphasis on teams developing an alternative jersey this season that has some tie to the team’s history and colors,” Browns President and CEO Carmen Policy said. “We discussed this matter at length with league officials, and we all agreed that our alumni weekend--which will host the Cleveland Browns 1950 NFL Championship team--will be the perfect occasion to follow through with this league initiative.”
