New Jersey Storm - Primary Logo

The expansion New Jersey Storm will join the NLL for the upcoming 2001-2002 season. The Storm logo features a "super-hero" type lacrosse player, in the team's primary colors of blue and black. Team owner and former NBA All-Star Jayson Williams chose the name "Storm" as a tribute to his alma mater, the St. John's Red Storm. The Storm will play their home games at the Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
